Hal is the former CEO, Director, and Co-Founder of Borel Private Bank & Trust Company, which started in 1980. In 2001 after 30 years, Borel Private Bank & Trust Company became a wholly-owned subsidiary of Boston Private Financial Holdings and subsequently in 2011 merged completely to become Boston Private Bank & Trust Company. Hal has been a pillar of the local community and continues to lend his vast experience. As a multi-generational resident of San Mateo, he is past director and president of the San Mateo Chamber of Commerce, Merchants Association, Historical Association, and St. Johnís Cemetery. He has been past director of the Mental Health Association of San Mateo County, Hillsborough Beautification Foundation, and San Mateo Arboretum Society. He currently serves on the City of San Mateo Investment Advisory Committee.

Todd has worked for Foster Enterprises in real estate development, property management, and asset management for twenty-six years.  During his tenure as partner, they have developed residential properties in Maryland, Florida and California. In addition, Todd, with his partners, has worked on more than one and a half million square feet of office and R and D properties in all capacities including: development, acquisition, disposition, financing, asset and property management, and repositioning. Todd is a member of San Mateo Rotary, was the board chair for Peninsula Family Service, and has recently joined the board of the Police Activities League.

As the second generation of leadership in Nibbi Brothers, a leading Bay Area construction firm, Mr. Nibbi has strong regional knowledge in real estate and the building trades.  In addition, he has served on the Board of Directors of Borel Private Bank & Trust.  A leader in the Bay Area Business, Labor and Non-Profit Communities, Mr. Nibbi serves on numerous boards and committees including San Francisco Center for Economic Development, HEART of San Mateo County, Carpenterís Health and Welfare Trust Fund, Committee on Jobs and San Francisco Boys and Girls Club.  A life-long baseball fan, Mr. Nibbi is also a member of the ownership group of the San Francisco Giants.

Through its team of experienced service professionals, Cushman & Wakefield focuses on the needs of its clients, offering end-to-end services delivered across a full spectrum of commercial real estate. Clarke earned an MBA from Syracuse University, Martin J. Whitman School of Management. He also has a Bachelor of Science Degree in Mechanical Engineering from University of Kansas. He is active in the community as a San Mateo Rotarian; Past Chairman of the San Mateo Area Chamber of Commerce; and President of the Hillsborough Little League. He spends his spare time Fly Fishing.

Edward Phillips served as CEO of Summit Travel, American Express, a travel and tourism industry management firm, for 22 years. Ed oversaw the growth of the company's sales to more than $50 million, 70 employees and seven locations. He has served on boards for American Express Travel, United Airlines, and Travel + Leisure Magazine. After selling his company in 2012, Ed started a travel, tourism and mobile technology consulting practice and invested in multi-unit franchise restaurants.  A Peninsula resident for over 35 years, Ed currently serves on the San Mateo Rotary Board of Directors, and is a former board member of Community Gatepath/Poplar Recare.  He resides in Redwood City with his wife Ann and 3 teenage sons. 

Jim Ruane

Jim is the president of Patrick J. Ruane Inc., a lath, plaster and drywall firm started by his uncle in 1940. The firm is a full service contractor with a specialty and expertise in high end finishes and historical restoration. Jim serves as a management trustee on numerous trust funds, boards and committees and is the vice president of the Wall and Ceiling Alliance, a contractor organization representing over 100 contractors and associate members in Northern California. In addition to his contracting business Jim has been on the San Bruno City Council since 1995 and has served as Mayor since 2009.

For more than 20 years, Golnar has counseled her clients on a wide range of estate planning matters. Her peers have selected her to the Northern California Super Lawyers® Top 50 Women list (2012-2014), the Northern California Super Lawyers® Top 100 list (2014), and the Super Lawyers® list (2009-2014). Golnar is currently on the board of trustees of Lick-Wilmerding High School. She also serves as a member of the Mills-Peninsula Hospital Philanthropy Advisors Council (former board member), the Peninsula Family Service of San Mateo County Advisory Council and the advisory committee of the Legal Aid Society of San Mateo County where she was former board president. Golnar graduated from the University of California, Santa Barbara (B.A.) and Santa Clara University Law School (J.D.). She is fluent in Farsi and conversant in French and Spanish.
